Is it worth it though? A dac for a pair of 400 dollars speakers. Asus keeps boasting about their great onboard audio tho im not sure if the dac on there is any good. Also doesnt optical go up to 192khz?

Shouldnt it be the same across different computers? I mean it uses micro usb, so i assume it would be similar. Well i have a pretty good gaming rig and the onboard sound is decent. Im planning to buy from a local store since they have a discount on the e10k right now, but they have a mo refund...

I was just reading about the fiio e10k, the price is pretty good in my budget. Question is will it boost the quality significantly? also 24/7 plugged in and use is fine for this tiny dac/amp right?   Last question, what use does pc sound cards have? like those ones from asus.

AFAIK the m50x is pretty easy to drive, im not 100% sure if a DAC will improve the sound. Im really new when to amps and dacs, so i need quite a bit of help.

ive been wearing them for a while and i can tell i HATE the pads. what are some pads that are super soft and would fit on the mk2s? I prefer those puffy ones instead of pleather. 

Ive just bought the ATH-PRO700MK2, and im really impressed by the audio quality. There is only 1 problem, it clamps my head too hard, ive been wearing them for 5 minutes and i have to take them off. Is there anyway to stretch them?
