The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I'm probably not a basshead, but bass is top priority for me. I use my Audio Technica M50 and Alpha & Delta AD01 paired with my Fiio E10 (bass boost on) while listening to bass boosted music on Youtube and certain hip hop songs on Spotify. The bass impact from the M50 is bliss to me and makes...

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

I'll consider the upgraded cable, thanks.   I bought it from their site. They were quick to reply as well, but they suggested to clean any dirt in the unit. I barely had any and cleaned any that was there. I'll see what they reply with next.

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

Been slowly adding more headphones the past couple years. Bass is always a need when it comes to sound, but this is my first unit that's considered "basshead". So I've had the Alpha & Delta AD01 for almost 3 months now. Without sacrificing treble and too much mid, you get clear sound with lots...

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

This is my first basshead purchase since following the thread. This is my first taste in the basshead realm, so I'm not exactly sure what basshead bass should sound like. I used to use my M50 with the E10K Bass Boost on and listened to bass boosted music on Youtube. And, thats pretty much what...

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

Been using the AD01 for about a couple weeks and they sound beautiful. I really enjoy them connected to the E10K with bass boost on. Currently listening to Spotify on my HTC One M8 with a Bass Booster app. Literally, that's what the app is called, Bass Booster. I found my gen 3 iPod Touch and...

My AD01 should be arriving (hopefully) before Friday. Can't wait to use them. Dipping my feet in the basshead realm for the first time

    Which Fiio portable amp?

Thanks. Are there any differences in the bass boost from all the portable Fiio amps?

    ATH-M50x - THE BEST HEADPHONES UNDER $250?

Personally, I enjoy the M50 very much. An amp isn't necessary, but I have them amped by the Fiio E10K. I like to keep the bass boost on. I've traveled with them across Canada while connected to my HTC One M8. Comfort isn't the best, but it is largely improved when you change the earpads to...

    Which Fiio portable amp?

Which Fiio portable amps work with laptops that will, also, charge while it's being used?

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)

Are there any differences in the bass boost within the Fiio portable amps? I'm looking to buy a Fiio amp to connect to the laptop (listen while charging) and my old iPod touch.

    Headphone adapter for PS4 controller

I'm looking to use the Philips L1 with the PS4 controller. The cable is iPhone compatible, so the mic won't work. What adapter should I be looking for to make the mic work with the audio? Ps. Could some one provide a quick explination as to why this occurs? From my understanding, the ps4...

    Amp/Dac connected to Amp

I currently use the M50, AKG Q701, Philips L1 and Shure SE215. I keep the bass boost on because, you know, the bass lol. I'll use the Q701 with the high gain. I might not need a better amp now, but later on I plan to buy other headphones that may utilize the amp to its potential. Plus, I've read...

    Amp/Dac connected to Amp

I'm currently using the Fiio e10k. I see that the O2 amp is on sale and I'm considering picking one up in the near future.   To use the dac from the e10k, must I connect the line out (3.5mm) to the input (3.5mm) on the O2 amp? Will this bypass the amp in the e10k?

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

For those who have used the RHA MA750, would you say they are comfortable while lying on the bed? For example, watching a video on your phone while lying on your side.

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

Been sleeping on this decision. I'm leaning more towards the Hisoundaudio Wooduo 2, though.

Need IEM's under $100 with sound characteristics like DT770 80Ohm

I, too, am looking for some earphones with similar sound. Here's a link to a post I made for reference.   Also, check out the HiFiMan RE-400

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

I guess not. Is there a service that ships out multiple headphones to one customer to try and decide which one to purchase or did I just create a new business idea? I can't find these locally.

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

I was comparing it to the description made by ljokerl when the vPulse was reviewed. I guess I just interpreted the two reviews differently.

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

Thanks for the tip. According to this review, I got the impression that the bass isn't as strong as the vPulse. Does it need to be "burnt in"?

    Bassy Head/earphones for flight

Thanks guys. How about the ones I've listed? Some of them are on sale (ends today). Any one want to shed some light on those? I'm not a fan of the noise canceling technology. Its distracting IMO.
