Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
I just want to say that I have immensely studied this thread with a couple headphones I was interested in, awesome work. Would you consider checking out a set of the JVC HA-FX1X? There is already a large discussion thread on them here...- Matt V

For those that don't like SPC what kind of wire do you recommend? I pulled the trigger on SPC wire from Navships on eBay after many raved about them on here, wondering if that was a bad decision.- Matt V

For those who have upgraded their Sennheiser cables, can you comment on how SPC wire alters the sound? From what I've read it gives the phones a warmer sound. Would you guys attest to that?- Matt V

I think I've got this figured out now. What do you guys recommend using at the connecting Y point of the cable? Heat shrink or is there an actual piece recommended?- Matt V

My only concern with the nylon is that it can't expand so I have to make sure I get the right size. Would 1/8" work?- Matt V

I guess 1/8" would be ok since it expands to more than I need diameter wise. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8-EXPANDABLE-SLEEVING-blk-purple-spiral-TECHFLEX-25ft-/230616063252?pt=Car_Audio_Video&vxp=mtr&hash=item35b1c9dd14 I'd rather have sleeving that can expand instead of the nylon multifilament.- Matt V

Yeah I'm using SPC wire with teflon insulation. And my apologies, I'm actually using 24awg wire. I'm a newb at this stuff so please forgive me. Can someone explain the differences between the types of sleeving out there and what would be best for a portable cable? Also any suggestions on...- Matt V

DIY Cable Gallery!!
I am having some custom cables made for my HD25's soon, what do you guys recommend for sleeving? Using 22awg wire for everything, want a black look if at all possible. I think I like the look of nylon mutlifilament sleeving. Do you guys put an insulating layer over the wires followed by the...- Matt V

Gathering materials for custom Sennheiser cables
Scratch that expensive ass wire in the first post. I searched around and found a much liked eBay seller that many people recommended on here for SPC wire. So will the Cardas plugs in the link above fit the HD-25-1? They look much smaller in person!- Matt V

Starting over, $100 on ear headphones
This place is a curse. I bought a set of Crossfade LP's for $150 and while I like them I think they aren't what I'm looking for. It seems an on-ear headphone is the way to go for what I plan on using them for. Going to sell these and dedicate $100 for earphones and $50 for IEM's. Here is the...- Matt V

Looking for IEM headphones in the $50 area
I need some IEM's for running, biking and general active use. I am looking for something with a nice low and high end, probably more concentrated on clear highs but some decent bass kick would be good. I prefer neutral mids. Durability is also very important, I'd prefer something that has nice...- Matt V

Question about Fiio L3 LOD cable
I just ordered a Fiio L3 cable that I plan on using for an assortment of Apple products but I'm curious about something.
