Amp for the 225s: RA-1, or OBH?
Looks like it was just a typo on a popular headphone website... it has been fixed since my initial post.- scdavis0

Amp for the 225s: RA-1, or OBH?
What is the 'Denon' that you guys are talking about? I plan on using the Game Theater XP. For those not familiar, it is essentially a dummy card that attaches to an EXTERNAL box. That should hopefully help eliminate noises from my PC.- scdavis0

Amp for the 225s: RA-1, or OBH?
Quote: If that's the case, then get the Creek, since the RA-1 is overkill for a soundcard. I don't understand what you mean by 'overkill'. I can get both amps for the same price.- scdavis0

Amp for the 225s: RA-1, or OBH?
I'm getting the grado 225s. I don't see the need for crossfeed in my situation (3D games, Dolby Headphone, I like the 'in my head' sound). I've narrowed my selection down to the RA-1 and Creek OBH (the less expensive one). I do realize that one is portable and the other is not; this does not...- scdavis0

Appropriate amp for 225/325 and 580/600 level of headphones
Okay, I'm going with the 225s. I'm leaning most strongly towards the Corda amp. What do you think?- scdavis0

Is it possible to buy an assembled Corda amp? EDIT: I'm also extremely curious as to why the RA-1 isn't nearly as recommended or in use. Is it one of the best amps to drive Grado phones?- scdavis0

How well does the Creek (or other amps that you recommend) pair with the Grado line of headphones? For a variety of reasons, I won't be building an amp (unless someone here sells them).- scdavis0

Appropriate amp for 225/325 and 580/600 level of headphones
This was originally posted in the headphone reviews forum until I realized that it was in the wrong place. The Grado SR-80s were my initial gateway to the world of high-end headphones. I've sold my 80s with the idea of going to something better. I'm pretty confident that my next set of...- scdavis0

It sounds like I can't go wrong with the Creek unit. I really like the price range. Last chance for someone to convince me otherwise..- scdavis0

The Grado SR-80s were my initial gateway to the world of high-end headphones. I've sold my 80s with the idea of going to something better. I'm pretty confident that my next set of headphones will be the Grado 225/325s or Sennheiser 580/600s (with an inclination towards the Grados). I figure that...- scdavis0
