Use a standard USB DAC with a Nexus 7 (step by step guide)
Would anyone know if there is a way to use a mic input with a USB DAC or USB sound card with this method? I was planning on installing a Nexus 7 in my car as a satnav replacement and was hoping of a way to use an external mic for phone calls in the car. Thanks!- theimapwnu

Best $100-$150 non-Grado headphone
Huge Grado fan here, but the Grado's are too flimsy for their owner (these are for a younger girl). Any recommendations before her non-head-fi dad buys her some Beats by Dre's lol. Best on-ear/over-ear headphones for $100-$150.- theimapwnu

Grado wood makers & sellers thread
I was having a very hard time searching through the forums finding people who make Grado woodies, so i'm making a compiled list here. Other than the expensive / exotic wood makers I am still hard pressed to find someone who can make me some reasonably priced mahogany RS1 style cups. ...- theimapwnu

Modding the Sennheiser pc350 headset
Thanks guys just registered to say thanks for this mod :D Did this on mine and a friend's PC350s yesterday and love it. I started with 2 smaller holes (3/32") and expanded them to a bit bigger (around 5/32") If I want to seal off a hole is a few layers of electrical tape good...- theimapwnu
