I love my 598s, but after breaking in the headphones and having the ear pads soften up a bit, the drivers have begun touching my ears.  I've tried adjusting and readjusting how I wear them, but no go.  I've heard there's a good way to mod it so it puts more distance between the ear and driver?

Hey, I need some help picking out IEMs for <$150.  Durability and sound quality are important and I prefer rather neutral sounding headphones.  I enjoy the sound signatures of HD 598s and HD 650s.  

Just curious as to why these aren't that popular.  There arent many reviews and these headphones seem like a great bang for your buck, basshead headphone.
