You can now get a decent SACD player and still build a DAC for your red book later on. Since most SACD players do not play red book that fine.

I know for fact that later PBs have optical out built-in. So you better check for that first. If that's the case, everything becomes easy.

Just received my HD 650. Completely blown away by the sound... I thought I like my RS-1, don't get me wrong, I still like it. It's just that I can see me spending more time with the 650 than with the RS-1... It's all subjective I guess. Happy Listening
