I am currently using 0.9.6.1. I think they fixed this problem. You just have to refresh browser content, and no longer need to rescan.

Can anyone explain why prefer foobar 0.8.3 over 0.9.x? Is there a sound quality decrease when going for 0.9.x? I am currently using SRC on 0.9.6.1.

Anybody know how much burn-in required for Yuin Ok2? I have give it 50 hours so far. But compared to my Modded Sony Mdr-e888lp, I do not feel Yuin Ok2 is that much improvement. Vocal definitely is better on the 888.

I think it still depends on your use. For me, I would trade off the sound quality for the extra functionality of the touch. And to be honest, I do not think touch is all that bad sounding.

The current quick fix that I know is to disable auto lock, and always keep the screen on. But I still experience this with 1 or 2 of my lossless, but the majority will not skip.

Wow, you got the same setup as me. Below is a picture of my similar setup I am using a 2006 Micro DAC and a Hornet as a preamp.

I am curious if Headroom Ultra Micro DAC can fit here? And how it compared to the other candidates?

If you use the headphone out to listen to music, I find the 60GB iPod Photo the 4th Gen IPod to be a lot worse than the 5th Gen. However, the lineout, I find is about the same. If I am in your situation, I would rather sell the current 30G video ipod and upgrade to an 80G iPod Classic.

I think sell your 80G classic and get an used iPod 5.5G, and load Rockbox. To me the same hardware but when replaced with Rockbox instead of Apple's software gives me the Wow factor, IMO. Plus, with rockbox, finally EQ is usable.

An entry good one is the Headroom Micro DAC. It can be connected via USB, and with no drivers required to be installed.
