Tried ground loop isolator but still getting static noise
Hi guys, I have a set of speakers that always has a static noise when I play something on the TV. When initially turning on the TV it does not make much of a static/hissing noise (maybe very slightly) but as soon as I put on Netflix and play something the hissing starts. I've actually purchased...- xecure

One side of headphones not working
I have a pair of Klipsch S4i II headphones. After a few months of using it (it's not under warranty) the sound coming out of one of the ears cuts in and out but if the wire is held at a certain angle near the 3.5mm plug it would work. I've been doing this for a few days but now holding the wire...- xecure

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!
Hey guys, I'm looking to mod a pair of fostex t50rp's I bought a few weeks ago. They have a very neutral sound to them (little lacking in the bass) and I am looking to mod them in a way that will bring out the bass. I'm going for a more "fun" pair of cans than an accurate pair. What mods have...- xecure

Fostex T50RP Question about input: Do they only come with 1/4"?
Quote: I'm gonna listen to them for a while, burn 'em in. I think i'm gonna go with the thunderpants just because I hear so many good things about it. I don't think I'm gonna purchase the v-moda cable. I think I'm just gonna cut the tip off this one and put in a 1/8" plug.- xecure

Fostex T50RP Question about input: Do they only come with 1/4"?
Hi guys, just bought a pair of fostex T50RP. I wanted a pair of headphones to keep for a long time and mod. After reading a few reviews here I was under the impression that they come with an 1/8" jack and have a 1/4" as an adapter. Mine came with an 1/4" input. Any idea if there are two...- xecure

Help! Broke my headphone jack. Want to re-cable, but have no idea where to start.
I kind of pulled it out of my laptop in a weird way and when it popped out I noticed a chunk of the tip missing. (I've attached a picture of the broken jack) I have a Samson SR850, and even though they are cheap and easily replaceable I spent over 300 hours listening to music on...- xecure

JVC FX101 vs JVC FX40, help me find a sub $20 IEM
I'm looking for a pair for sub $20 headphones. I'm not exactly set on the FX101/FX40, so I am open to suggestions. I am looking for something I can run in and wear on my commute to work (and also at work). I'll be wearing these headphones for long periods of time so comfort is very...- xecure
