Suggestions for slim keyboard to use with laptop
Personally, I would recommend one of these if price wasn't too much of an issue: ThinkPad Travel UltraNav USB Keyboard. Its basically the same keyboards found on ThinkPads, but in an external enclosure. They are probably the best slim keyboards that you'll find, and if you look on eBay you...- firefox360

am I getting stupid for trading T61 for T60?
some might say that the IPS screen alone is worth the trade, although I would have to agree that you are taking an impact in the computing power department. personally I wouldn't have done it, and would rather stick with the T61.- firefox360

Altec Lansing iM716 Predicament
I think the D1 on the board would indicate that it's diode rather than a resistor. Do you have a DMM? If so you can just check to see if it is infact a resistor by checking the resistance.- firefox360

Klipsch owns Energy Speaker company?
I've had excellent experiences with API products over the years, products such as Sound Dynamics 300ti's (which were well known for the excellent sonics emanating from rather plain/boring looking boxes), the famous Energy 22.2's (which were wonderful) and now a pair of Energy C-300's. They're...- firefox360

Can I convert this amp to stereo?
The amplifier only has one channel on it, so the only way to have a stereo setup would be to buy 2 of those, or to build another replica of it.- firefox360

Buying a car
As a note for BMWs (if you're considering one), you won't be able to buy one brand new from the States. It's against the dealerships' policy with BMW NA. However, you may buy a used model from south of the border, although I believe it's without financing or leasing. BMW warranty would still...- firefox360

There must be a bigger soldering point for the iPod Photo/Colour than just the resistor pads... I'm thinking something along the line of a pad for a capacitor, which should probably be larger than the pads on those resistors.- firefox360

I got my first pizza box today!
I felt that from my (relatively short) auditioning time at an audio store, that the SR-325i is a much more refined version of the SR-60, and that I really liked the SR-325i. The SR-225 however was completely different to me in terms of sound signature. Sounded very neutral, and to me was a...- firefox360

Westone ES1 is it that bad?
I agree on the recommendation for the LiveWires, definitely do check them out. Here's the link to them over at TTVJ. At the price of $249 + the cost of impressions, you get a dual driver IEM (rather than the single driver ES-1) that so far has very positive reviews.- firefox360

Palm Help
In terms of what's being offered in Palm's current product range, if I happened to have to replace my Tungsten T3 (which I hope I won't have to), I'd have to say besides the LifeDrive I would get the TX. Macbook or Macbook Pro
The extra RAM would probably be helpful with Parallel, but not really necessary with Boot Camp. I've personally have never used Parallel before, but I'de guess that with the standard 2GB of RAM, Parallel should run pretty well for most task.- firefox360

Headphile does happen to offer "Grado Locking Adjusting Rods", however only with a recable or woody/recable. Could These Be Sennheiser HD580/600/650 Phone Connectors!?
I was just reading the Westone 3 thread, when I came about a link to a company called "Plastics One" that makes the cables for Westone IEMs, Etymotics IEMs, and the LiveWires IEMs. I checked the site out and was messing around with their "Build a cable" page, when I came across some of the...- firefox360
