Sorry i should have said, I'm using my laptop to mix and master an album in cubase and soundforge. I'm using the nice revealing superlux hd668b headphones for the process. I think the e10 will give me what i need.

The e10 is USB powered so it won't work with your iPhone/iPod etc. MacBook will be fine though

Ok, so my senn IE7's gave up the goose, well the right can did at least. Doing some looking around I've narrowed down my choice to replace the IE7's to either the Brainwavz M3 or the HiFiMan RE0. I just can't decide. Somebody convince me either way!   im in the uk so it's tough getting hold...

The right can on my ie7 is a lot quieter than the left and as a result the whole sound stage has shifted left slightly, tried on numerous sources its certainly the cans. Has anyone come across this before? Any ideas for me? I'm out of warranty by 2 months by the way !!
