I've just picked the R2 up an hour ago and for now I'm staying with the red/red combo with spiral dots. The included tips work amazingly this time with the longer nozzle but still prefer the spirals. So far a great improvement over the R1, specially the voices.

I'm currently testing some HM5 velour pads that arrived today on my modded pair of Fostex, the comfort, evene against the already very comfy dog pads is incredible. They are a little tricky to put on, maybe a bit small for the T50RP and definetly not a pad to be swapping often. Soundwise so far...

I got my pair yesterday, for 150€ used they seemed like a real bargain for me so I jumped into them. Currently enjoying the sound a lot, I was leaning towards a more bright signature, but this cans have the detail and the clarity also adding some fun to the overall sound.
