Well, I thought I should update. Connection seems ok and these are my go to TWS now. There is the odd strange glitch every now and again, but not enough to return them.

So a quick check playing iTunes on my iMac shows the connection as SBC which is a shame. Not sure there's much in it with a strong connection & compressed music, but it will definitely count out Apple HiFi when it arrives (if they don't limit it to Apple headphones/new licenses haha).

Agreed. Mentioning them without saying what IEMs they’re driving for the comparison seems even less relevant.

I went for the Slim Reaper. Comes with a matt black stainless steel charging case so a bit more understated.

There seems to be the odd report that the latest MW07 Plus now support AAC, but the M&D website still doesn’t mention it. As an iPhone user this would be a bonus so I will try and check.

Should you be able to source a cable to go from the USB DAC to single ended, so you can use your existing wired headphones wirelessly? Creates more value for me and I would probably buy. Or could Flare sell it as an accessory?

I have a pair. They are good apart from the Bluetooth connectivity. They cut out every minute or so walking through the City of London. IPhone 5s in suit breast pocket, so can't get much closer to the headset. May have to send them back.
