    Full sized headphone recommendations?

Ah I see now, well dang I wish I had 400 dollars to drop on headphones.  Has anyone here listened to the Ultrasone Pro 900's?

Sennheiser HD 800 VS Grado PS 1000

I got to experience the Sennheiser HD 800's the other night, and although I have never listened to the Grados, I think that they are pretty hard to beat.  Those HD 800's sound amazing!

    Sony MDR-7506

I equalize my cans so that I can get the desired effect that I prefer.  Yes they do have a harsh upper range, every headphone has their flaws (except for maybe the Sennheiser HD 800 that I had the privilege to listen to last night)

    Sony MDR-7506

Wonderful.  Thanks for another pro AKG opinion.  I REALLY think we all get it now.  I know theres better headphones out there, and trust me if I had 1,600 Dollars I would go buy the Sennheiser HD 800 and never touch my Sony's again.  It all boils down to the amount of money you have and how you...

    Sony MDR-7506

I think you have stated your opinion well enough.  If you had a AKG thread, would you like it if I continually bashed YOUR headphones? I think not.  Therefore please discontinue commenting on this thread.  I understand you like AKG's better than Sony's.  GOOD FOR YOU.  However in MY Country...

    Sony MDR-7506

Just a reminder:  This is the Sony MDR-7506 thread.  Please dont sit here bashing these headphones.  And those are the lowest prices for brand new headphones, not used or refurbished.

    RP-DJ1200A, Shure SRH750, or Sony MDR7506?

I would say the Sony MDR- 7506 is the most well rounded of the three.

    Sony MDR-7506

As I sit here listening to them I just think they sound so good.  I know theres always better out there, but If you ask me, there isnt any for the price.  They sound amazing and I dont even have them plugged into an Amp.  Just directly into my laptop.

    Sony MDR-7506

    The 7506 is 80 to 90 U.S.D and the K271 is 145 U.S.D the K272 is 210 U.S.D.  I quoted the lowest price for each of them.

Ha, 202 Dollars! Electropop your point has now become invalid.

Sonys have less plastic.  Thats why I primarily got them instead of Shures, and they supposedly last longer which I believe.

Have you ever listened to Shures?

Monster Beats Pro is like a Sony XB

I honestly dont want people wasting all that money on such a poor product.

    Sony MDR-7506

I got mine off Amazon.  Everything checks out, they arent fakes.  Besides they sound too good to be fakes.

    Sony MDR-7506

I think that vocals are represented beautifully on the 7506's.  And once your burn them in a lot more (I gave mine like 50 hours) the harsh high range isnt as bad, but its still a little bit harsher than most headphones.

    Sony MDR-7506

See Ive always wondered if I would like Sennheisers more, they look more stylish, for example and I hear that they sound better (im talking about the HD 595)

Monster Beats Pro is like a Sony XB

Basically, I simply dont care for Beats.  They are way overpriced and people love to show off how they have 300 dollar crap headphones by wearing them around their neck wherever they go.  I have listend to the Solo, Studio and Pro Beats.  The Pro's are decent but not for the price.  The other...

    Sony MDR-7506

I dont really notice a big difference between the V6's and the 7506's.  One just says Professional on the side and the other says for Digital.
  22. shaneybrainy

    Sony MDR-7506

The 7501's dont seem to be nearly as sturdy as the 7506's.  The are mostly plastic not metal.
