So...I'm building a gaming PC, my first one. I'll be using k701 headphones. I own a GS-1 headphone amp that I'd like to incorporate into my gaming rig if possible. But I'm confused. I have zero knowledge of PC audio so any help is appreciated.   Firstly, which card is better for headphone...

I only listen to music at night, in bed, and have had no problems. Use a narrow pillow, or fold a full pillow in half, so that it does not contact the earpads and push them forward.

I'm confused as to how a soundstage as presented by headphones can be "unnaturally wide"...I always assumed headphones compressed the soundstage, therefore making it unnaturally narrow, given it's harder for a set of headphones to reproduce an accurate soundstage that comes from a well...

There was definitely a lot of initial K701 hype that could be attributed to "FotM"...however, I think for the most part the novelty has worn off and the K701 has proven to be, for a lot of people, a very, very good headphone. They are the real deal, IMO, and it doesn't suprise me that there are...

I really wish eBay would do something about "revenge negging". It sort of defeats the purpose of the whole system if a crappy seller can ruin an honest buyers reputation by leaving untrue negative comments in retailation...
