Whats a good etch resist pen for making pcbs?
I've tried sharpie and various other brands but none gives me the results that I want (especially thin traces). I've tried layering lines with the sharpie but hazing/spotting still occurs after etching. Small letters are non-existant and ends up to be little specks. I use a small glass dish with...- dokebi

Do people actually use the search?
I see the same questions over and over again on most forums. Typical questions on head-fi is "Whats the best headphones under $xx" or other variants of it. Kind of annoying to fire up my browser and see this regurgitated crap over and over. Having a bad day...don't mind me.- dokebi

How can I make led light up when I insert headphone plug?
I want to make it so that if a headphone plug is inserted an LED light turns on indicating it. Is there an easy way to do this? Also, how do momentary switches/buttons work? Which opamp does the SantaCruz use?
Does anyone with a turtlebeach santa cruz know the opamp(s) that is used on the board? Would the AD8620 work or are the pinouts different? I was looking at the card and it seems there are 2 soic type chips on it. Using magnifying glasses I still couldn't identify the chips. Thanks.- dokebi

do they have low-profile hammond type enclosures?
I like how the hammond aluminum cases look but it is too fat for my tastes. Is there anything similiar to the design but a bit shorter? Perhaps 1-1.5 inches tall. The size of the Audio Alchemy headphone amps would be perfect. I tried to look for some but most images weren't too clear or I...- dokebi

How do I keep bass when lowering gain?
When I lower the gain on my amps why does the bass disappear along with it? The difference is pretty dramatic to me. Unless I set the gain higher than my listening comfort level, lowering it to match for example grado's kills the bass and virtually makes everything sound "flat". Is there anyway...- dokebi

problem with using 2 opamp in cha47 variant
I made a cha47 variant and it has problems when I use 2 opamps with it. However, it works perfectly fine with only one in either socket. My first thought was that it could be faulty opamps but I ruled that out by testing. My second hypothesis is that the 12v wallwart may not be enough. I would...- dokebi

Fastfood place rant
When I go into a fastfood place and buy a burger, it looks old and slapped on together. It looks nothing like the juicy fresh thing they advertise on t.v. Why is that? It's like watching a car commercial for a new car and finding out at the dealer that it's rusted and has a few dents. Am I...- dokebi

I changed 2 capacitors on my TBSC
The 2 100uf 16v capacitors next to the versajack. I changed them to 2 470uf 35v and they fit perfectly without any special mounting. The first thing I noticed was the increased bass and less distortion at high volumes. Anyone else try this on their soundcards?- dokebi
