Are there any good ~$500 floor standers?
I am really surprised no one has mentioned Athena , another Canadian company that makes great speakers.Their entry level floorstanders can be had for less than $500 a pair and sound great for the money. -

JBL Venue Speakers
The imaging and soundstage were 2 of the things that impressed me with the JBLs.For the price they seemed like a really good deal. -
JBL Venue Speakers
I know there are a few headfi'ers that work for,or have worked for Best Buy.How about you guys.Do you like them? -
JBL Venue Speakers
Thanks.Im' wondering how many people have heard the speakers.I thought they had an OK sound, but I was in Best Buy and with all of the other noise going on it was really hard to tell just how good they really were. -
JBL Venue Speakers
I was at Best Buy last night and heard JBLs Venue speakers. The Stadium model was the one that I spent some time with, trying out the different types of music selected from their display setup. They really didn't sound bad for the money. They were $299 each, which is pretty cheap for a...- milesbeyondjazz

Grados: sr125 vs sr225 vs sr325i?
I have had all of them at one time or the other and the only one I kept was the 225.I think its the best $200.00 (or less used or if you find a good deal) headphone out their today. The 125 was very bright and bass shy and the 325i while having good bass and good detail was way to bright. The 225...- milesbeyondjazz
