Okay so I got my first Zen replaced 'cause it was stuck on rescue mode. They immediately sent me another one but DAMNIT it had a transparent plate! I contacted Amazon and they only offered to send me a refund (like AudioMagnet) so I tried emailing Creative to see if they'd replace it. They said...

Mine is light blue. Yeah Amazon sent me to same thing =/ You think Creative would send me a replacement? I mean I can deal with it but I'd prefer a "perfect" one, considering all the trouble I went trying to find a "perfect" vendor. Amazon is great and I don't blame them if they are irritated...

Yeah that really sucks. I just emailed them yesterday and they shipped out the replacement already. It's estimated to arrive tomorrow, but if this one is a defect then we're all screwed. There goes 2 months of researching/ordering and then cancelling it down the drain!

I too saw the player at Best Buy. I was anxious to try it out but they removed the battery! I asked the employee if I could see the battery but he was rude enough to ignore me People these days...

It allows you to listen to all the songs in the same volume, without having to adjust it on every song. Er that doesn't really make sense but yeah if you have a song that's kind of quiet and one that's much louder, smart volume will make them sound the same according to how high/low you set it.

Here's another leather case I saw from DAPreview. It's supposed to compare to the vaja cases but less expensive. Looks like the other leather cases rockit posted but I think I like those better.
