    South East Michigan meet?

Thanks everyone for coming! It was a lot of fun, heard some cool cans, made a wishlist longer than my wallet can sustain, and also heard some surprises. My big takeaways: I can't afford my wife's taste in headphones. Chinese IEMs are pretty amazing, especially for the pricepoint. I really need...

    South East Michigan meet?

We've had cocktail parties down in the bar with around 50 people, but that gets a bit crowded. I'm sure we will be fine with 25 or so though. Good news - we've replaced the pool table with a vintage booth, so more seating. We have WiFi, we have power, and we have the coolest tiki bar in...

More BINAURAL fun! Chicago's Magnificent Mile!

I think you are developing a fan club here! Another cool "track" ... Kinda wierd how well the effect works. My fiancee is officially spooked now. (That's a good thing though!) I'm hoping to get the equipment setup to do a run at this in New Orleans. I'm leaving on my honeymoon in 3 weeks...

Help: Jazz recommendations for my wedding

Thanks for all the suggestions and good wishes. We'll be hitting the library and listening to some of these this week. 3 more weeks to go! We also picked from our collection Norah Jones. That leaves another 2 albums to pick out. Any other suggestions out there? Nina Simone? Billy Holiday?

Made a cool BINAURAL recording today...

Very cool stuff ... played this for my fiancee and she was looking around for the birds and such. Any chance you can provide some pics of your gear or more info / links? I think I'd like to do this a bit on my honeymoon in a month.

Help: Jazz recommendations for my wedding

I'm getting married on the 13th of July (about 3 weeks from now) and need some music to play during the reception. This will be a casual event, so no dancing, just background music. My fiancee and I are hoping for some suggestions for Jazz, preferably slow standards. We both really liked the...

'hangin' wit Tyll' part IV: detroit rock city

Well, I worked this show and it was alot of fun. I didn't get to listen as much as I would have liked, but I got to meet some great people and have a good time. Boy do my legs ache from the lifting though. I was particularly impressed by the AKG K1000s and the Etymotics ... I have more...

    How does this thing work?

I think there may be some misunderstanding here ... the front panel does not have 1/4" jacks for headphones on it. You cannot plug anything into the front other than that "rod". This is just a passive switch box ... I was looking at this so that I could hook up one set of inputs from my cd...

    How does this thing work?

Not sure if this is what others are saying , but I believe that you pull that "rod" out and put it in the position you want. So if you wanted "CD" you would put the "rod" in the hole by "CD". I think it is just a fancy way of avoiding a knob ...
