WARNING - Dual Disc - Why You Should NOT Risk Buying Them!!!

Not to get into the politics of the Dual Disc issue, I will say I did not have a problem playing Devils & Dust on my CD player, which is several years old, nor did I have a problem ripping the CD to my IRiver using my notebook. As for the sound, I can't complain about that either. However, it is...

    Has anyone used a gigabag?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm just looking for a small, portable package for my amp and player and it sounds like the Gigabag will fill that need.

    final impressions of px200

Taken for what they are (small portable closed headphones for under $60), I think the PX200 are excellent. I was surprised they sounded much better after a dozen hours or so of use, since I assumed only the larger more expensive headphones required a “burn in” period for improvement. And the...

    Headroom Airhead with AKG 501's

    Which MP3 hard disk player?

I totally agree with the Peddler’s NJB3 comments. I have the NJB3 40GB and I’ve found the sound quality to be outstanding. I regularly use either the ER4S or HD600, depending on my listening environment, with excellent results. I travel a lot and it is really nice to have both excellent sound...

    Nomad Jukebox 3 40GB Or Ipod 20GB?

I’ve had the NJB3 40GB for about two months, the NJB 20GB before that, and I’m quite happy with both the sound and performance. And I love having the recordings of over 450 CDs wherever I go, and still have room for a lot more. The NJB3 did freeze up with the initial battery charge, but the...

Yes another HD590 vs HD600 question

I bought the HD590 for the office when all I had was the TAH amp, and I was not disappointed in the results. I especially liked the single cable attachment. However, once I moved up on the amp scale and I added the HD600, I've never gone back to the HD590. I know it is a matter of my personal...

    Creative Nomad Jukebox 3 Review

Peddler, You do know that a wired remote will be available once Creative starts selling the NJB3 accessories. As for the control buttons, there is a menu “Button Lock” option that will lock out the control buttons. I’ll admit making this a menu option was a pain until I got used to the feature.

    Best amp for HD-600's? (~$500)

Cosmic with or without the Reference Module?

Since the Cosmic is already a bit extreme for portable use, getting the reference version would really be a bit much. However, if you plan on using the Cosmic with non-portable components and you have an extra $150, you may want to consider the reference version.

    I need help selecting headphones!!!

LTUCCI1924 I was only disputing the claim that the HD600 could not be used in a portable environment. And by portable I mean anytime I am not in the same room as my home unit. Most of my HD600/Cosmic use is in the office or in another part of the house. The Cosmic is the only amp I referred...

Y-Z: The NJB3 and TAH work very well together. Add the Airbag for the NJB and you have a very nice portable system. Quote: Originally posted by fredpb I personally love the hd600's, but not for portable use. Even with a good amp they lack the dynamic bass at low level that even $60...

the line out of the Nomad 3

The NJB3 headphone amp can drive my HD600 so I would assume it could drive HD580 as well. And it drives them well enough to be enjoyed. But you will want to eventually add a headphone amp to push the headphones to their best performance level.
