I have a pair of sr-60s that I had planned to sell but decided to mod instead. So far I have removed the grill cloth, vented the holes and added felt to the magnet. Any advice on what to do next before putting the cups back on? Is it worth the cost of recabling or wooden cups?

hello all, i've been having problems getting my monica dac and airport express to work. is there anything you need to do in order to bypass the internal dac of the airport express and get optical output? i am using this glass optical cable and this mini-toslink adapter. thanks!

i was hoping to keep the system minimalist. airport express -> monica dac -> kookaburra preamp/headphone amp ->charlize amp -> diy fostex horns. if i can't get it to work i will have to change dac's or continue using the dac from the airport express. any ideas on how to check what's wrong?
