Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
Yeah, original Phonak silicone sleeves are greater but their falling off nozzle after some time is really troublesome. Think I lost 2 of them. So I've moved to Olives as Complys alter the sound dramatically and are far too expensive for what they offer in terms of durability. I hope that the...- muzikfrrrik

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
I'm looking for a pair of iems that have neutral bass, very fluid and non-sibilant highs and great detail in the price range of 160$. If there's nothing along these lines in this price range something first above it that meet the requirements. I'd also like to mention that I find phonak audeo...- muzikfrrrik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
Yes, I use grey filters. To my mind, they are the best as black and green ones deteriorate the sound. Nope, foam is one size smaller. I used large silicone tips and medium foam sleeves. So small foam size for medium silicone tips probably, but i don't know what if someone uses small silicone...- muzikfrrrik

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
I have previously owned 012 for about a year and a half and decided to sell them and look for something different as they didn't actually fit the bill for me. After some time I bought them again. Decided that my main source will be a smartphone so bought 022 and now I'm trying to sell 012. :) In...- muzikfrrrik

Cosmic Ears - new CIEM company with great prices (including Hybrid designs!)
That's good to hear. :D I probably wouldn't even consider HY3 due to my sound preferences. :D If I make up my mid on CE, it'll be single or twin. If I like it, then maybe 3 or 4 BAs in the future. :)- muzikfrrrik

I'm not in a hurry especially as I have lots of other expenses at the moment. I'm on a kind of tight budget so I'm only in for a single or twin BA. Speaking of ear impressions, in my country they can be done for let's say as low as 6 pounds (just not in my city) so it's even cheaper then CE DIY...- muzikfrrrik

Quote: Possible to buy them beforehand? There's no place in my hometown where I can make my ear impressions and I'd like Phil to tell me what configuration is the biggest one I can put into my ear if my ears is, generally, big enough to get CIEMs.- muzikfrrrik

I know that's hard to say how exactly will earphones sound, but stil it's better than nothing. :) I also don't want anything harsh sounding. Don't know whether analytical sound could be smooth, though. Analytical, smooth sound with good soundstage is a way to go. :D Wonder if CE has something...- muzikfrrrik

Don't know whether it's come up in the topic or not, but received an email from Phil saying they'll put frequency graphs for each model as they have no demo units. That'd would make things easier. :) Think I'm also going to wait with ordering until new cables are available.- muzikfrrrik

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I probably still have a some time before they start production of Flex line, but I need to decide what option I want. I'd like something that would come out of the fusion between Tandems and Audeo with silver filters. That being said, guess twin balanced armature...- muzikfrrrik
