    The Basshead Club

Hey guys, I'm looking for some In Ears for my friend that costs around 80 dollars (preferably under). Do you guys have any suggestions? It's mostly EDM, Dubstep, DnB, Trap.

"Mad Dog" by MrSpeakers, modified Fostex T50RP review

Alright I see. Someone told me it was semi-open . Weird.   I mean I don't plan on having super boomy bass, just something a little more powerful than my ATH-M50 I have right now. And of course I couldn't even consider the D2Ks anymore since they are now out of my price point for good...

"Mad Dog" by MrSpeakers, modified Fostex T50RP review

So someone recommended that I try the Mad Dogs as a good ~$300 bassy set of headphones. Just curious, how does do the Mad Dogs compare with other bassy headphones around the same price point? Also since they are semi-open, how is the leakage? I plan to use these as portable headphones.

    Headphone Sightings 2

Just a bunch of Beats at my high school. Saw a V-Moda M100 and Razer Orca though but nothing else that's special.   At some academy though I've seen 5 ATH-M50s in one room.

Just looked them up and said they were semi-open. Forgot to list this but I want them to be somewhat wearable in public without a lot of noise leakage.

So I'm looking for headphones around the $200 - $300 range. (Preferably Closed back) Genres I listen to often: - Electronic - DnB - Chillstep? (not really sure if its a genre) - Classical (work music)   Genres I listen to sometimes: - Video Game Music (chiptunes + full on songs)...

Beyerdynamic Custom Ones! New Beyer headphones!

The COPs are not in any way portable IMO as the COP does not fold like the M50 does. The COPs are very comfortable compared to the hot and uncomfortable Audio Technica pads. Also, if you enjoy more "bass-ier" songs than the COPs will out do the M50.

    ATH-M50 & Beyer COP

Check out some of the latest posts on the COP thread.   http://www.head-fi.org/t/420490/show-us-your-vintage-headphones/525   From what some others say, the COPs are perfect for electronica, hip hop and rap.

Beyerdynamic Custom Ones! New Beyer headphones!

Thanks for all of your help. I'm leaning to the COP at the moment as I do love calm, subtle electronica music and comfortable headphones (the M50 gets really REALLY uncomfortable).

Last question I have.   From what I see, it's hard to get headphones that are good with both bass and trance/D&B. Any suggestions between the Custom One Pro, HFI-780, and HFI Pro 750? From reading around it seems that the 750s are better with Trance but the 780 is better with bass (Dubstep...

Beyerdynamic Custom Ones! New Beyer headphones!

Thanks for the information once again. I think I'll get the COP as it has more features and seems to be better overall, I listen to more than just Electronica.

Beyerdynamic Custom Ones! New Beyer headphones!

Anyone know how these compare to the HFI-580, 780 in terms of bass? Looking for some new headphones to buy that can suit my Dub, D&B, Electronica needs.

Just want to jump my recommendation a bit.   So the HFI-780 seems to be a good choice for my bass (EDM, Dub, Electronica, D&B, Gaming) needs. Any other recommendations? I've heard the Custom One Pros are pretty good and D2000 seems to be a good choice. Any other recommendations?

I'm looking for new headphones in the 200$ range for electronica, D&B, dubstep, and gaming. I already have the ATH-M50 and it disappoints me with the level of bass it pumps out. I'm considering the Custom One Pro or the DT770 with a E11 to accompany both.

    Has the fake ath-m50 arrived?

Opened up the headphones up. Here's the pic of the driver:   I am certain it's legit now since it does have the yellow circuit board w/ sticker.

    Has the fake ath-m50 arrived?

Since it probably doesn't make a difference, I'll try opening it up... But the screws are really hard to move XD   Be back in a few minutes

    Has the fake ath-m50 arrived?

So I bought from Amazon recently and it was from a store and was shipped with Amazon.   I recently took of the ear pads and found that there were stickers on this part of the headphone: http://www.pic.iran-forum.ir/images/7r3p9fd3x6o94ucwl1h.jpg (Credits to peaceful1)   I haven't...

Hey Audiophiles,   I am new to the whole Audiophile scene and I'm looking for a nice pair of full-sized headphones under 200$.   Experience/Bio I've only owned one in-ear earphone (Sennheiser CX 300-II) and a very cheap (Sennheiser HD 202) so this is very new to me. My friend does...
