Headphones with low outside isolation (optional) and almost no leakage?? 350$ budget
How about this... isolation and leakage are inversely proportional. Less isolation, more leakage. More isolation, less leakage.- KmhK

M50s overrated?
The M50s may be a little overpriced now compared to other full sized headphones, but they still are solid performers. They probably still are one of the best portable headphones. Newbies generally look for bass and/or vocals, which the M50s do deliver. EDIT: I also have no idea why this thread...- KmhK

Logitech G35 Gaming Headset Review
I used to have these, the positioning was actually fairly good when set up correctly, apart from the lack of precision in the 11, 1, 5 and 7 oclock which seems to be due to DH. Sheer objective quality really wasn't great though. Is worth ~$80 imo.- KmhK

Brainwavz B2 Impressions & Discussion Thread
The foam that goes past the core. The.. overhanging? pieces of it. The foam should end up being flush with the core after the trimming. Quote: Have you tried changing the tips to something that reaches the second bend in your ear? I found my B2s to be incredibly shrill with stock tips.- KmhK

Brainwavz B2 Impressions & Discussion Thread
I just made use of the equalizer in PowerAmp to further flatten to FR. Well, wow. Can't believe I haven't tried doing that earlier. These things really make me wonder what CIEMs sound like- KmhK

Looking for a "Jack of all trades"
I think you would want to stay well away from the HD25s for anything relaxing. I presume you're after headphones and not earphones? Fa-003 and their clones are generally good all rounders. Check this thread out, by the way. It may help if you're a big gamer...- KmhK

ISO High end sound card. No price limit.
I'm deciding between the TiHD and ST/X atm too. I'm kinda wary of the STX though, with people reporting beeping noise problems. Quote: So if you don't play older games, and only the newer ones (eg, BF3, CoD4->, L4D2, etc.) would the TiHD have any positional accuracy/immersion/soundstage...- KmhK

Replacing drivers of ATH-M50s using MDR-7506 drivers?
Even if it was possible, I wouldn't do it anyways, because the (edit: internal) enclosures are most likely a different shape, changing the sound accordingly.- KmhK

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 for movies and games?
I suggest the Fa003 and its clones for movies and games. The M50s have an incredibly closed off soundstage, though there is some size to it. I haven't tried the 840s long enough to comment on those, and I've never tried the Dt 770s.- KmhK

HD 558 OR M50 for casual use
Outdoors: M50, easily. Indoors: I'm not sure, I've never tried the 558s. But from their description from reviews, HD558s may lack the energy that you might like in rock music.- KmhK

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.
So I just got these recently, and was starting to really like them with the smallest stock tips... until the right channel suddenly went quiet. So now the left is a lot louder than the right. Anybody have any idea what may have happened? Edit: Chucked them in the fridge for a little bit...- KmhK

Am i getting the most out of my ath-m50's?
If you want to change the card, grab an Essence ST/X or Titanium HD. For a usb dac& combo try the ODAC. I haven't got any experience with these, it's just what I've gathered from reading.- KmhK
