I find the xcited more detailed and fun to listen to.  I feel the xcapes focus too much on the bass, so much so that it overshadows the highs and mids a bit

Hey, I enjoyed the review! I tried the Hephaes yesterday and would agree the Bass is great.  Really like the design of the casing and the wire strap is a really nice touch.  Definitely worth the money.  I'd like to compare these with the Xcape.
