Skip the grados my friend. Nothing beats a well powered pair of LCD-2 for rock

Wish you could have heard the full potential of the LCD-2 Funch, but I think the CLAS/SR-71b combo was enough spread that ortho magic haha! But I need more time with that HD800 to decide if I want it or not, it damn sure was comfy though.

WarriorAnt you gotta let me listen to your rig someday. I've been looking for a good DAC and the W4S Dac-2 is in my crosshairs.

$155 for just the 4" cable, and the splitter cost extra, but i'd keep it cause it matches the LCD-2 oh so well. $90 ($30 a piece) for the 1" adapters. So $245 shipped for everything. Quite a steal in my opinion, some places charge $90 for just ONE adapter and $245 for the cable

The Norse Cable is wonderful for its looks and function, and for the quality craftsmanship at that price just can't be beat. I can't say enough great things about Trevor and Norse Audio. I know which cable i'm buying when I get an HE-6       forgive the crappy phone pics

Guys I would go with the XB700 pads. It does improve comfort, isolation and soundstage. I also no longer have to adjust them around my head to find the sweet spot for the S-Logic. But this better isolation makes the sound more 'closed' thus more bass, but with the Kees Mod it counteracts this...

I know, never owned a tube amp before and don't know much about them, though I'm currently looking into hybrids. I guess it's gonna be a trial and error kind of thing.

there are websites like beatport and trackitdown that offer high quality lossless tracks. WAV & AIFF are the formats they use, but cost more since you are getting a "Lossless Upgrade"
