Did a booboo with new dt 770 and a few questions about it.

Left right channels sound ok. It seems a bit more volume to the right, but it's the same when i use my grados. And i used the tp mod for the sibilance more than the treble. Just put some behind the piece of foam in the center. And now it's good, before it kinda scratched my ears. Though i...

Did a booboo with new dt 770 and a few questions about it.

Soo i got a dt 770 250 ohm and when i was putting some tp in the cup (cus i heard that it's good for taming the treble and sibilance which was rather bad and it kinda worked) and while i was working on one cup the other umm driver got out of the cup for a few seconds and hanged by the cable. I...

Pads for Fostex T50RP - Do the Hifiman HE-400/500 or Beyerdynamic DT990/880 pads work with them?

I can buy either of those two locally without much hassle. I know the brainwavz HM5 is better but can't really find them anywhere close.   Which is why i am wondering between those two if any of them work well with the T50RP or not. Either if they fit or if they sound well.

Beyer DT770/Fostex T50RP/AKG K612 vs Grado sr80i sibilance or recommendation

Well borderline sounds good enough i think :). I've been reading a bit that the DT770 have a rather harsh sibilance... And my ears are sensitive to it. So i guess i'll have to pass on those. Now that i think about it i did try the dt880 and didn't like it a lot.   How do the k612 compare...

Beyer DT770/Fostex T50RP/AKG K612 vs Grado sr80i sibilance or recommendation

Greeting everyone, i'm looking to buy one of the two mentioned headphones, dt770 or t50rp (maybe modded or not, not sure if i can fit a good modded one in a similar price as the dt770).   I have a pair of grado sr80i which i really like, but it's sibilance is rather annoying. Fortunately, if i...

For gaming, Senn HD600 or AKG K612 ?

@mindbomb Competitive gaming maybe. I don't really want that. I want more immersive one. Soundstange is good though. And yeah they may be better for gaming but i really care about sibilance a lot, my ears are kinda sensitive to it... And i have read that k598 or akg k702 might have some so...

For gaming, Senn HD600 or AKG K612 ?

Oh, i'm not searching for the perfect headphone. I don't even care about positional audio that much, as long as there's no sibilance and a natural sound i'm ok with it. The ultrasone i have are good for gaming, but i can't wear them too much because either my ears sweat or because they clamp my...

For gaming, Senn HD600 or AKG K612 ?

Well, i have had plenty of other headphones, akg k550, beyer dt 880, senn hd 558 etc. Most i've either sold or returned either because i found the sibilance unbearable or not much improvement over what i had. Currently am using an Ultrasone dj1 pro because it really doesn't have sibilance for...

For gaming, Senn HD600 or AKG K612 ?

Well, i kinda expected that to be the answer since i doubt HD600 is double as good. Nontheless, i was curious. Especially regarding the sibilance.

For gaming, Senn HD600 or AKG K612 ?

Hello people, i want to buy something kinda new for gaming and music so i wanted to hear some opinions if anyone tried these two headphones. Mostly, if the price difference is worth it, by that i mean k612 is kinda double HD600. I'm looking for soundstange, natural sound and most importantly...

Well it's not a lot of static, only on the highest amp setting it is noticeable (ofc this depends on the headphones as well) and it did it out of the box so i don;t think it's damaged. thanks for the topic link, will take a peek.

Well i am looking for something warm and without sibilance that is comfortable. I have an USB soundcard that has an amp, but it has a lot of static especially on the high setting, but on the medium one it's pretty good.

    Open Headphones for ~200-250 euros

Hello guys, i need a quick recommendation. I am looking to purchase, as i have said in the title, a pair of open headphones for 200-250$. I am looking mostly for a non-fatiguing sound and for them to be comfortable so i can wear them for 3-4 hours. I have been looking at the Senn HD 598 and...

Open headphones for around ~200-250 euros

Hello guys, i just want some advices on a pair of open headphones in the 200-250 euro range. I've been thinking about the DT 990 or the Senn HD 598 (since the HD 600 are a bit over my budget). What other headphones would you recommend? Also, which has the least sibilance? Thank you for your...

Quote: Well it depends on what volume you listen to and the headphones themselves, but yeah they usually leak a lot. I have a pair of Grado's and it's like putting a pair of speakers strapped to your head.

Can anyone tell me how is the sibilance of the DT770 compared to Grado SR80i. I have the latter and have gotten used to it, but if the DT770 Pro have a higher sibilance then i won't get them.
