Bowers and Wilkins PX8 Wireless Discussion
I wound up returning my black Px8s (due to battery issue) and after 2 weeks of waiting for a drop shipment replacement from B&W, requested a refund as I got impatient from the waiting. ....decided to "upgrade" to the 007 edition thanks to a decent cash back offer from my CC and they will be...- Warlax

Bowers and Wilkins PX8 Wireless Discussion
For me I've found myself building different playlists on Spotify for songs that really sound good on the Px8. A lot of music that was "fine" on my XM3s simply sounds bad on the Px8s. Mastering is actually important now haha. I imagine those songs that sound bad can greatly benefit from...- Warlax

I've not used PowerAmp with the Px8s yet, I have with my other headphones/IEMs, but it does offer a stand alone app for global EQ. At least on Android, it costs $5. I've also seen Wavelet recommended.- Warlax

Everyone hears differently, but I will say from my perspective/experience the Px8s are much less fatiguing to me than the Bathys. I have had some bouts with tinnitus in the past couple years, but my main issue is new daily persistent headaches. Not on the same level as a migraine (usually)...- Warlax

That's great man! Mine drained really fast yesterday and after an "all night" charge they are at 33%....but at least draining normally, heh. I'll play around with that too, but I'm lucky to be local to audio advice and they said they'll take care of me when they get more stock in. I don't...- Warlax

Yuuuuuuup. Sounds exactly like mine. A song would start lower and then "pop" almost like some amplification kicked in or something sometimes. That on top of the battery issue is no bueno. It's kind of funny because I wasn't sure if I was going crazy or just having "bad days" and couldn't...- Warlax

Welp I tried charging it all night and my battery did charge to 100%...but after 2 1/2 hours it's down to 28%. Guess I've got a bad battery, damn.- Warlax

Yea I've had some weird issued with my battery too. Currently no matter how long I charge it, it only shows up as 52% charged. Just took it off the charger after 6 hours and....sure enough, 52%. Anyone else run into this sort of thing?- Warlax

m50's love the Fiio E7/E9
Bumping this, I would really appreciate if anyone has any insight onto this subject matter! I do a lot of my listening off of my computer, so if I am really missing out just running off of the HTO striker card I would love to know so I can rectify this situation. EDIT: And I was...- Warlax

m50's love the Fiio E7/E9
I am also curious to this, as I have the same sound card and also use the M50s. I have read a couple reviews that say it is not the best for music (it must be much better than onboard sound I would think though!), however would the difference between this card and using the E7 be appreciable or...- Warlax

Earsonics sm3 V2
Quote: Quote: Sorry, I have the V1s. Though based on the pictures posted by Google (and linked by shane, thanks!) I believe I have the wider-bore tips, even though the tips there seem to be of a lighter color the bore size on the tips look the same. Unless the...- Warlax

Earsonics sm3 V2
I am curious as to these new biflange tips, however I'm not sure which ones I have in the first place. I ordered my SM3s in early May from soundearphones.com (through amazon), and I received 2 pairs of what seem to be identical grey silicone tips. The openings appear to be fairly wide, given...- Warlax

Glad to hear you found something that worked for you! I'm even more glad that it was the SM3! lol. I must say I mentioned before I tested between the SM3/TF10/MTPC and I liked the SM3 hands down over the others and this just makes me ever more confident in my decision (I don't have the funds...- Warlax

REVIEW: Monster Turbine Pro Gold (w/ New Car Smell and Doughnuts!)
Nah, I had ordered a pair of MTPCs off of Amazon to try out and I couldn't find a good fit with any of the included tips. I received my SM3 about 2 weeks ago, and had been doing something similar to what you're doing albeit with only three headphones and a *much* smaller budget lol. TF10 causing me headaches? Advice please!
Well, as I ordered from Amazon I was able to get them to ship out a replacement pair even before I sent the other ones back. I've had the second pair of MTPCs for a few days now and have been working on burning them in. Even out of the box however I agree with them being much better for me...- Warlax

Tried the complies, even then I couldn't find that perfect fit for myself. I must wholeheartedly agree with your second statement! Yea, I was not able to find anything about them causing headaches on here, hence my need for a new post. I think the fit issues may just be what are causing the headaches. Quote: I think you and I had the same problem with the fit in that case. I may try the monster tips, as I do...- Warlax
