I recently discovered VSTs and I was going to try out Isone but I don't have a way of using it.  I know programs like foobar 2000 and Jriver Media Center can support VSTs but are there any (preferably free) Mac programs that can do the same?

Do any head-fi'ers know of a place (APureSound, Moon Audio, etc) or even some fellow Head-fier's that could recable my re-262s?  I love them dearly but the cord is coming apart in too many places to possibly fix with heatshrink.

Personally I think upgrading from the HD-25 wouldn't really be an upgrade, more of a sidegrade.  The HD-25 are quite legendary, and for good reason.  They're durable, portable and they sound good to boot.  I mean you could get the Beyerdynamic 1350's but they're not necessarily that much better...

True Willakan, I must agree with that statement, overhyped overmarketed items are ubiquitous in today's market.  However, both Turtle Beach and Logitech have sterling reputations for making very good gaming headsets.  The G35 in particular has amazing positional cues; I tried my friend's once.

I've heard the turbines, and their bass is overdone.  The boom on them is ridiculous.  Definitely not turbines.  But then again, Re0 lies on the other end of the spectrum entirely for bass.  personally not sure on the re2...I guess Selenium's suggestion of looking into Meelec is a good one

Although I can't get onto the British Amazon site, the American one sells regular turbines for about $110, so Britain couldn't sell it for that much more...Also they're on FS threads for like $70 on this site from time to time.  I give my recommendation to the turbines.
