Isn't this the same USB OEM board that came from the HEX? And it gets rave reviews in that context. So what's wrong it?

I am curious about how this DAC compares to the Metrum Octave. I know the Octave is NOS, so it's not apples to apples but would they be about on the same level? I've been scoping the Octave but a clean one box solution sure does have its appeal in the Concero.

I agree with the OP that the SM3's are an amazing IEM. I love mine. Could you not take a little longer and just save up for them? Trust me, they're worth it. And they do show up now and then for sale here.
