Instead of seeing 10 new threads asking about the best amp under $100... Please Read!(solution inside)

Every day I come to this forum specifically because I am trying to decide which amp setup would be best for me. Every day, there are several threads along the lines of someone looking for the best amp for them under $100. In order to cut down on these threads, which I'm sure annoy a lot of...

Would putting a pair of IEMS through the wash make them sound considerably worse?

So two years back I put my Superfi 4's through the wash and just got around to replacing the jack a week ago. Now, they sound like crap to me. Is this because they went through the wash, because the sodering job and the replacement jack weren't very good, or that they just didn't sound very good?

Better PMP than Sansa Fuze for under $100?

Is there a better mp3 player than the sansa fuze for $100 mine doesn't have enough space, and I'm wondering if I should get a new one, or just get a larger microsd card. I don't need a lot of functionality, just good sound quality, good internal amp and 16+ GB of internal storage and micro sd...

Can someone help me ID these headphones?

They're Yamaha's, got them about 5 or more years ago from a guitar store, they originally came with a 1/4" adapter. They sound like they would be in the $50-$150 range, not sure as I haven't had any full size headphones besides them. I'm pretty sure they're closed or at least semi closed. Here's...
