Audinst MX-1 and Active monitors.
I'm considering buying a pair of ADAM A3X monitors. Will the RCA outs on my Audinst HUD MX-1 work with these monitors? Also, can I use RCA to XLR cables? Thanks :)- frosne

Newbie questions about desktop monitors
Hi :) I've recently been looking into a speaker set up and after reading many reviews, the Paradigm Atom v.5 seems to be the best choice within my budget.. But I don't know anything about speaker setups :( All I know is headphones. I'm using an Audinst HUD MX-1 as a USB DAC, what do I need to...- frosne

Little Dot MK III or Little Dot MK IV
Hi :) I'm wondering if the MK IV is a big improvement over the MK III and if it's worth the extra money. I'm going to use it with my Sennheiser HD600 and an Audinst HUD-MX1 as a DAC.- frosne

Should I get another full-size headphone or go portable?
I listen mostly to Metal and some Acoustic folk :P My current portable rig is the Etymotic ER-4P and the FiiO E7 coming from a 5g iPod classic and my home rig is an Audinst HUD-Mx1 and the HD600. I'm looking for a neutral/mid eccentric portable headphone :)- frosne

Should I get another full-size headphone or go portable?
I currently own a Sennheiser HD600, I'm thinking if I should get the Grado SR325is or go for the portable Beyerdynamic DT 1350 or Sennheiser HD25 since I already have the HD600. I'd love to hear your opinions :)- frosne

Does the Bottlehead Crack come with good instructions? I've never done any soldering before so I'm not sure if I can build the Crack.- frosne

Tube Amp For HD600 Under $400
Yeah I was thinking about getting the asgard but I figured that tubes would be better. I'm currently using the Audinst HUD-mx1 as a DAC/Amp combo. So what would you recommend between the Bottlehead Crack and the little dot mk IV? Quote:- frosne

Which headphone should I take for Metal Music?
I currently own a pair of HD600s and I listen primarily to Folk/Black metal and I must say that the HD600s do a Very good job. But I have heard that Grados also do well with Metal.- frosne
