Why compare with YH-5000SE? One's 5000 USD and the other is 2000 Yuan.

@BoyNamedSue ES-R10 sounds way more natural. The W3000ANV has this upper mids emphasis ("coloration") which added intimacy and details to vocals which makes some vocals really enjoyable. Vocals on the ES-R10 is on a different level. It is the first pair of headphones which gave me goosebumps...

It's interesting to see headfiers deciding to set conclusion and sell off headphones with only 24 hours break-in. Please give audio equipment enough time to break-in else you do not know what you are missing out. Many years ago I bought PK1 after hearing so much rave reviews. I was disappointed...

Hi All, I was wondering if I can use my DX100 to feed a power amplifier to drive my speakers. Since the DX100 line-out output level can be adjusted, it is very much like variable output from cd players or DAC preamps right? Has only one tried it? Thank you for your attention. Cheers! Vic

Urghhhh! This wait is agonizing! I have very high expectations on this one after hearing my FLAC files via my friend's Oppo BDP-95 with my Lyr/LCD2. I have never heard my FLAC files sounded so good. I hope it's the SABRE reference DAC. So this may be THE DAP for me. Would be nice if music...

I also get this "pressure building inside your head" feeling when I tried certain close back headphones and some IEM. Was finally able to find an IEM (TF10) that never gave me the problem. For this reason I'm hesitant to go into custom IEM. Never had pressure problems with my LCDs.

Looks "plasticky" and cheap for something >$800. Then again HM-801 is "plasticky" too. Hope it feels solid though.Silver definitely looks better. Wish they had it in full metal casing like their amps but it'll probably add cost and weight to the player.
