Silver poison is silver gold alloy. I tend to use neutrik right angled ones as I only ever make low profile lod's Most recent one.

  I also have not tested the sonic differences between different gauges of wire, however, I think the quality of the wire is most important. I used to really rate solid core Mundorf Silver / Gold, till I tried stranded Silver Poison from Toxic. The Toxic wire beats the pants off of Mundorf...

Here here!   I have loads of good stuff that's made in China. I bought a pair of Astrotec AX-60's from bigbargainonline, and they are excellent IEM's, both in SQ and build quality.

Id be interested to know if that works too. I got 128gb CF card in my DIYmod, but its getting pretty close to full now.

  First LOD I have made in quite a while. Still in the 'house' style and with an incorporated micro USB charge socket. No more painting on this, I moved over to black milliput.

Indeed they are.   Very fun and detailed. If the mids were a touch more forward they would be just right for me. However, from my limited experience of different IEM's, there the best I have tried.

  Same rig, different day. Removed the O rings and added some dual lock. Still not sure I like it.   Edit - Not sure I like the dual lock, not the rig. The rigs very pleasing to my ears.

There not so large, and very light. Not sure why Frank changed. A bit more bespoke and refined perhaps? Something custom made rather than 'off the shelf' is a bit more special I suppose. The new ones are lovely looking and feeling splitters.

Picture 'quoted'   Pretty sure they are Audio Technica ATH CK100's rather than Final Audio IEM's. Best ever production cable? Quite possibly.   Meet looks great by the way! Loads of tasty gear on display. Im considering attending the next London one when its on.
