another question would be, would my Fuze be able to drive this thing? or should I always have to lug around the headphone amp.?

Ok, so I decided to obtain one ATH-M50, and I have to say, these cans are immaculate. However, it came with hippo box+ amp. Now, I can't decide weather to increase the bass (using the amp) or not. D: so, is M50 lacking in bass or is it enough?

They are about the same price now, the HD 595 is around 129, while the M50 is around 121-149. which one should I get? I listen mostly to metal though. also, with the M50, for an additional $50, the dealer would give me free hippo box+.

yeah, looks something like that, but it doesn't have any markings on it, no L or R, no HD 595

I have been wondering this for a long time,but my roomate since to have some senns that look like the HD 598's but it has a black head band instead of white/gold ones, but the speakers themselves are gold. so, which model are these? he had it for like 2 years now.
