Purple on-ear headphones
Haven't posted here in many years. Cured upgraditis and don't like the new website =[ I'm after some purple (preferably brightish purple) on-ear portably type headphones for a birthday present. Yes they must be purple. I only know of Skullcandy and various other consumer-fi brands...- Enverxis

I've been well man Saw Opeth live for the first time recently, was pretty good. They played too many songs off their new album and I was really facepalming during one point of the concert, however after that they played April Ethereal, Face of Melinda and Deliverance so that was much... -

Lets Talk Metal
Yo guys I've been out of the loop for years now. Where are the good places to purchase metal from via mailorder. Years ago I used to use The End Records, Redstream, Dark Symphonies and a few other small labels. The End was the best (in 05-06) until their stuff started getting shipped... -
Darkest Desires Part V
Spent about a month listening to Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way to Blue and I have to say it's the best release I've heard in 2 years. Matthew if you weren't a huge fan of their old lead vocalist the new guy melds in well with Jerry Cantrell and would probably suit you better (He was... -

Are the HD650's forgiving?
I've owned HD650, MS-2, MS-Pro, Woodied HF-1, RS-1, K3000 and heard DT-990 extensively as well and the HD650 is the most forgiving of all of those to my ears.- Enverxis

Singlepower Transformer Question
It's been a while since I've posted in the non-music section. I was thinking of purchasing a second hand Singlepower MPX3 from the for sale section here as years ago I remember they were really good tube amps that everyone was raving about (and at the time I had a MAD Ear+). Now I noticed...- Enverxis

OMG new Maudlin of the Well
Except this one. Just listened to it then, there are fragments of the music that had the "maudlin of the well" feel to but they are scarce. There's some beautiful parts in the music, especially with the Violin and Cello but I don't really like the direction they took with this album. It's...
