    broken dt-990 repairable?

    the plastic shell that holds the right driver has a small crack in it near where the wire comes in. symptoms are buzz/rattle with anything bassy.   looks like beyer does not sell just the cups or shells, only drivers and pads.   is it worth trying to fix these or are they beyond help.
