Memory foam IS the giant killer of modding materials.   I should get some to experiment.

  Having read what it's done to your Grados... I should give memory foam a try, apart from how comfortable it is.

I have the UN32F5000 (which seems to be the same as the UE32F5000) and the headphone out jack is a line out, fixed, quite low in volume. You need to connect that to an amplifier, then it'll be useful as a headphone out.

It's nothing to worry about. There's a solid metal rod inside that plastic "cover", so it won't stop working or break completely.   It happened to my first SR850 (the same headphone by samson), I flexed the headband too much since the pressure on my head was unbearable, and the plastic broke...

Sure! I've modded mine a lot, to be completely open (and they now leak accordingly, they are like mini speakers now, I have to listen to them in my bedroom with the door closed but it's worth it...at least for me they now sound like the headphones I've always dreamed about :D) and they may not...

These headphones have some really good drivers. REALLY good ones... they love having lots of air behind them to move... the problem is that the cups don't have much breathing room for them... nothing can be done that won't change the cups.. perhaps peeling off that black screen on the LEFT and...

Superluxes are durable, like any other headphone. Just don't step on them or have them fall to the floor lots of times and they'll be fine.
