Cleaning Sony MDR-EX1000
HI, I was wondering how I should clean them. I don't have the wire tool used to clean IEM. I was thinking of pulling out the gauze, but it doesn't seem I would be able to put it back on again. Does anyone else have EX1000 that they have cleaned successfully?- holofernes

Quote: i thought that you want a lower center of mass closer in towards the axle, since it gives you the ability to have an advantage on your angular velocity while pedaling. and yes i made a mistake on the inertia, you want a lower intertia. bleh i hate physics i like chem more...- holofernes

Audio files corrupt?? :/
I've heard there was a program that can rebuild a damaged file using approximations of what should be there based on the surronding code. Howver i dont think its 100% correct so searching around on cnet on file repairer could help.- holofernes

MP3 Tag Missing from Windows Explorer
I've had this problem too. A good method that ive done was delete the tag data with mp3tag and then ctrl-z to undo sometimes the tag data is corrupted somewhere that mp3 tag cant detect. So basically mp3tag will recreate the tag data without the errors using a newer set of tag refrences...- holofernes

Where to buy, Creative Sound Blaster X-FI HD
Might want to check Fry's? Best buy doesnt really stock really good sound cards, just the basics since i've been there. But you can special order off of Best Buy or so ive heard. Fry's seems a better bet for these- holofernes

EMI Shielding
In my experience to prevent EMI you need to first prevent ghosting in the indivudal fibers in the cable through lots twists, also make the cables as sealed as possible with 0 oxygen penetration to prevent oxidation. As for shielding i would think if you had something to ground it using copper...- holofernes
