Has there been any news regarding a fix for the cold sensitive touch pad?

My main worry is the touch pad going wonky in cold temperatures.. Apparently it's fine as long as you restart the headphones outside but that sounds like a bother.

Update to my situation: The manager of my local best buy store contacted me and offered me the WH1000XM3s for $249.99 CDN due to the issues I faced with them over the holidays. Do you think I should jump on them at this price or turn it down and wait for something else? I kinda wish they sold...

Wish I could jump on those but of course it's US only...

Can anyone remeasure their set to see if they really did change the sound profile?

More interested in hearing about the Technics than any of those other options - but the Jabra may turn out to be a good alternative too. I'm disregarding the Audio Technica set since it still uses Micro USB and doesn't really compete with the newer headphones in terms of features.

You're kidding right? Aside from the option to turn off the touch pad and reducing the bass, most of those are horrible ideas. (ESPECIALLY the idea to reduce the padding, which is one of the thibgs this headphone does right!) Seriously, have you tried many of the other headphones on the market...

Finally someone is reporting on these glaring cold weather issues.

Honesty I feel the same way - if they combined the wireless and over-ear factors from the Mobius with Sine styling, materials, and build quality and offered it at the right price, they could really sweep the premium portable space out from under Bose, Sony, and others. How about it @Audeze ?

Speaking of the PX - does anyone have any tips to increase the comfort on these? I'd be willing to jump on a deal for them if they felt better to wear, but even demoing them got tiresome last time I tried them in a store.

I'd love to get either of those but the touch pad has issues in the cold and cold weather is part of why I need these. Any other suggestions?
