It’s now been a month with the FT5. I absolutely love these. So relaxing listening to my music and so enjoyable.

So is the honeymoon period over. Absolutely not. The more I listen to the FT5 the more I want to sit back and enjoy my music again.

I only use Macs, so I had to borrow a windows laptop from a neighbour. I followed the instructions in the word doc, starting with installing the driver, restarting the laptop afterwards, charging Q15 to 100%, connecting it as per the notes, started the installation, and then waited for the Q15...

I really love classical, jazz and blues with my FT5. Easily one of my favourite headphones. I look forward to listening to them and for hours.

The Sennheiser soundstage is slightly broader. See my comment above as well.

Been 2 weeks with the FT5 and I’m absolutely loving them with the pleather pads. I also got the Sennheiser HD 490 Pro, which IMO don’t get close to the musicality , slam and overall performance of the FT5.

They are indeed. The FT5 with classical and female jazz vocalist is the only one that can move me emotionally. The FT5 also have more bass slam.

I’ll be comparing the HD 490 Pro vs Fiio FT5. I have both now.

Listening to the suede pads. Definitely prefer the pleather pads. The pleather pads deliver an extra touch of musicality.

Been using my Q15 for about a week with the Fiio FT5, Letshuoer S15 & Sony MDR-7506 (with Yaxi pads). Really enjoying its sound, musicality and overall timbre.

Listening to the FT5 with the Fiio Q15. Pleather pads. Beautiful engaging sound. Comfortable too, fit nicely over my ears. Also used my Cayin RU7 with them. Also excellent combo, but the Q15 is a fuller more musical experience.

So I've upgraded the opamps , so the last part I wanted to try was the power supply, so here's my thoughts on the Burson Super Charger.
