My sony's had terrible bass, that is partly why i am getting new headphones. I wanted something with similar bass levels to my brothers smokin buds, so you can actually sorta get the 'wub' instea of a 'pop' if you know what i mean. Is the bass better than the cx400's? Rob

Ok thanks guys. I will see if we have any meths. Should it get to a shiny colour? I replaced the gain resistor with 2.2k resistors. I now have a gain of about 5.5, and it aounds almost listenable! I seem to have more sound in the bad channel now, approx 50% of what i have in te other channel...
