ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN NEO 3!
My impression for the ISN H40 with 3.5 mm jack, purchased during the black friday sale. Changing the stock tips to SpinFit CP145 I found the bass to really open up. Whilst I haven't read many people stating it, I agree with another reviewer that these are bassy iem's. To me, the review of cqtek...- latent

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
Quote: Just fine, I have the HM 601. However, if I could do it all over again I would have chosen a different MP3 player. Their customer service is really slacking, you have to step up to the plate to get their attention over and over, if you encounter problems. I returned mine and got a...- latent

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
Over the ear + Y-splitter in front feels like I'm cutting my throat. Lately I have just been wearing it straight down in front without putting the cable over my ear (ES v1) Same holds for the ES v2 (did upgrade) as I believe the length of the Y cable remained unchanged (or is not far off of the...- latent

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
There is a L and a R stating the left and right in-ear. And I know some of you are eager to know this, the length of the ''top of the cable'' to the Y cable is approximately 30 cm. And the part of the cable that comes out of the driver has a tube around it, making it impossible for it to...- latent

Comfort is definetely improved! As for sound I can not say that much as I am not an expert/ bad at describing. But I'm guessing it is more of a big room sound, sounding more spacious and clear.- latent

REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601
What is it with these cheap Chinese charge adaptors, the second one I got also passed away. Only luckily this one not after a few days but lived for a few months, but still. The SD card bug is also inconvenient but the company says they are working on it, yes, probably for a few months already...- latent

Earsonics SM3 Appreciation Thread - Third Time is a Charm?
I have sent in my EarSonics SM3 in for repair (broke the cable and one of the drivers....) and they offered me an alternative to upgrade to the SM3 v2 if I would choose the maintenance and modification offer (71.76 EUR) and the EM and SM series Cable (45 EUR). This is what I did as it is...- latent

REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601
I just wanted to say that I am getting my money back from UPS as I did not have to pay C.O.D. (for the replacement adapter priced $2) after all. After I e-mailed and phoned them they were very helpful, I just filled in the form for creditback and sent it back to them. As for HiFiman, they have...- latent

REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601
It disturbs me that you can lock the keyboard by using the ''hold'' button but that this does nothing to the volume knob. More often than not I am listening to the HM 601 whilst it is in my pocket. When biking it happens sometimes that the volume goes up due to hitting the volume knob by some...- latent

REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601
Today at University my classmates were actually making fun on how my HM 601 looks, saying things like ''Omg, my mobile phone is thinner and that can also play music'' and ''I hope you didn't pay that much for it'', lol. I just told them the sound is good and indeed the rest is crap.- latent

Quote: Ms. T (HiFiman support) said 12 hours but this is not true (and thank god for that). Someone else said it was 2.5 hours or so, but I'm not too sure about that. I do the same as you, checking now and then or waiting long enough untill I'm sure it it is fully loaded.- latent

Earsonics SM3 fall apart
My left side (blue) fell apart today. I press this side often (very) hard to get a better sound. Yeah, unfortunately I got unlucky with the custom earmold for my left ear. My left ear always was more problematic than the right one. I just let my dad glue it together with superglue. Didn't try...- latent

REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601
One of the things that disturbs me is the hiss, although I don't hear it anymore when I turn the music on. I can't remember the HM 601 doing this from day 1, but now it is there.. The other thing is that I have to re-insert my SD card every time in order for the player to read it. I...- latent
