TangZu Audio (formerly known as TForce Audio) IEMs Discussion Thread
A initial impression and unboxing of the Xuan Nv. In short, I surprisingly like it. Pleasant sound with good clarity with no sibilance, definitely one of the best in the sub 100 I tried so fast. Tangzu Xuan Nv (玄女): Unboxing and Initial Impression: Sub 100 goodness- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
I will likely be able to compare to a cyan 2 in 2 weeks time but if it’s say versus a Hugo TT, it has a tighter bass, a touch less depth, it is more mellow, alittle warmer, bigger sounding, smoother in the mids and the highs but less immediate. I only have R2R dongles and it’s definitely...- tassardar

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
Yeah and that may be the case for some. I have heard many headphones and not every time you agree something is good or bad really. It's possible to tame some signature with amp and dacs, but if it's not for you, there's still plenty of other headphones out there.- tassardar

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
The HD800s at times is too bright and thin for my sounding at times. I prefer the composer if its VS the HD800s. That said for me, I have other headphones that I will prefer if the aim is to kick back and listen. But it still doesn't change the review I did, it's still a comfortable pair with a...- tassardar

Unnecessary tower but composer was too sensitive for the mha200 and I had to use a preamp between the dac output and the amp- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
My initial test with comparison to my TT makes it more of a preference to choice while against portable solutions, the Harmony is an improvement. More listening to be done before I finish up my preview. But that said I think this is a really well designed product. In the build department I...- tassardar

ZMF BOKEH - Closed Back (Semi-Portable)
been using the Limba Wood version of the bokeh since canjam as I got it on the spot. Never go about doing a full review yet but initial impression is for general enjoyment, it’s pretty good. Clean sound, good bass and generally natural tone with very little close back boom. I personally prefer...- tassardar

Reply to review by 'tassardar' on item 'Austrian Audio Composer'
If you mean the amplified segment, that’s just how the composer sound using the different amps. Some headphones have almost no difference between amps aka their own characteristics overpower it. Some may have weird outcomes due to stuff like impedance or power handling Abyss is more like...- tassardar

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
Wrote a review on the composer and also took some nice pics. Tried with the latest LAiV Harmony Dac and Enleum HPA-23RM and it made my day. https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/austrian-audio-composer.26859/reviews#review-33600- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
Notices this local brand selling a full R2R DAC. LAiV Harmony My initial impression was its pretty good when it comes to soundstage, atmosphere, bass impact. Things just sound bigger and well spread out while having some additional top smoothness that reduces sibilance for me when testing...- tassardar

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
did a unboxing and initial impression the of the Onyx. I find the biggest difference with other IEM is the bass and the general atmosphere of the songs being played. It has a in the music kind of feel and a sound stage that’s really wide and layered. Mids are also really naturally sounding to...- tassardar

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
I had a chance to compare to my atrium open in the past one hr. I think the composer can really duke it for the best in dynamics headphones. If Atrium Open was Hot Chocolate, Composer is the kinda like Coke. Brighter, sparklier but still sweet and enjoyable,- tassardar

THE COMPOSER OPEN BACK FLAGSHIP by AUSTRIAN AUDIO
Im just really sensitive to Sibilance. It's for the higher mids to lower treble region for me with all the 'S'. I belong to one of the lower tolerance crowd haha. I ran on my Enluem HPA-23RM just yesterday and it has a more mellow signature. But that said its very minor and it lowers after the...- tassardar

I notice the tips mess around with the mids quite alittle. Final audio tips kills the mids while spinfit omni and the 7hz new large bore squarish tip having significantly better sound. Its price is around 3200 usd now- tassardar
