ATH M50 and AD700
What I meant by 200 was the m50 and the ad700 combined. As in both of them.- SirJulius

ATH M50 and AD700
So I just recently got the m50s and they're the best pair of headphones I've ever had. However, I do have some extra cash and I'm thinking of getting the AD700s as well. After reading through a bunch of post on here, they seem like the perfect pair. What do you guys think? Any better way to...- SirJulius

Another M-50 buyer
Finally got enough cash saved up and bought myself the ATH-M50's from Brianf on ebay. Woo! First set headphones that cost over 40 bucks. Anyways... anyone know how long it takes for it to get shipped over to southern california?- SirJulius

Skullcandy Skullcrushers vs. Koss Porta Pros
I use to own the skullcrushers. The whole sub woofer thing for the skullcrushers isn't really what it makes itself out to be. For electronic music they have the most impact, but after a while they really start to get annoying. But as for really low bass (the only example I can think of is the...- SirJulius

Just A Random Thought But...
Anyone ever get super paranoid while wearing noise canceling or closed cans? I recently had this thought about someone with a hockey mask kicking down my front door, running up the stairs, and busting through my door with a chainsaw, and not being able to hear them coming until the...- SirJulius

Headphones with detachable cables & that fold.
Yeah, but I was limited to 100$, so I could barely afford the M-50s.- SirJulius

Headphones with detachable cables & that fold.
The headphones I'm considering are the Sennheiser HD 438 and Audio Technica ATH-M50. They both seem to have similar frequency responses, with M50's being slightly more responsive. The only BIG difference I can see between these two (other than it's appearance) is that the M50 can fold and comes...- SirJulius

Quote: It's funny... I just read this again after a while, and I noticed the other headphones you posted. I too own a SHP2500 (bought them like 4 years ago, long before I actually cared about the quality of the music) and I was thinking about buying the HD 438. Now I'm not too sure...- SirJulius

Senn HD 280 vs 438 vs 515
Which one would be the most flat? I've considered other phones like the Denon 1001, and the ATH-D50. Though they seem great for there price as well (if not the best) I'm looking for a more flat phone. I'm getting into the idea that flat = better in the sense that you're hearing what the...- SirJulius

Senn HD 280 vs 438 vs 515
I've been searching the threads lately looking for a good 50-100$ closed headphone. I've narrowed them down to the HD280, HD 438, and HD515. Can anyone (from experience) be able to compare these 3? Right now I'm leaning for the HD 438. I like it's detachable cable design (I've had issues...- SirJulius

I actually use my phone as an mp3 player when I test in stores. But since I got these I've been using my computer's stock sound card to listen to them. I don't hate them though, I guess I just expected so much out of them. Right now I'm letting them burn in, and I plan to use to them to when I...- SirJulius

Well from all comparison test I've done I've used my mp3 player and my laptop as a source. I bought them off of amazon.com (as amazon being the actual seller, not a third party) so I'm hoping they're legit.- SirJulius

So I just got these in the mail today and when I first put them on I honestly couldn't tell the difference between those and cheap in ear headphones sound wise. I just returned some Senheiser HD201's, and I felt like that had SO much more bass and clarity. Infact, all over ear/on ear headphones...- SirJulius

Where's The Best Place In Southern California...
to try and buy headphones? Specifically around Temecula. I've been looking around the forums for a while, and I have an idea of which headphones are worth looking at, but I'd really like to hear them myself. Last time I bought some and waited a week for them, just to try them and be disappointed...- SirJulius

Different phones for different music.
So those headphones you're suggesting are good all arounders and worth the price? Or would I be better off getting cheaper multiple set of phones?- SirJulius

Different phones for different music.
So I'm new here and I posted a while ago (though I didn't get any response) so I'm posting again in hopes to get someone's opinion. I have about 50-100$ to spend and I'm trying to get the most bang for your buck. I've read a lot of reviews on headphones here, but it seemed like most of them lack...- SirJulius

80$ to spend
Oh and just to add, I do most of my listening through a computer/mp3 player/phone. I'm a broke college student/rookie producer/music lover always on the go. Hahah.- SirJulius

80$ to spend
So I recently made the mistake of buying some SkullCandy SkullCrushers. Well, not really a mistake. I was expecting them to not sound that well, and I really was only going to use them for heavy bass music and to wear them around like a necklace (I think they look cool, and so do the ladies)...- SirJulius
