I can't remember if I've posted a headphone here yet but I don't think there's much that can beat the AKG K601.  

They're a good headphone for the price but there was too much bass for my liking and the highs had a tendancy to become harsh at times. I'm currently using the AKG K240 MKII which are an improvement over the Sony V6 in all areas.

I honestly don't think they even pass as 'something to wear', they look horrible. They're little more than cheap plastic painted with garish colours and a tacky skull logo. The only people who should find them visually appealing are 13 year old emo kids.
