1964 EARS V6 Thread
Oh right, I forgot to question the source. I usually play my music from my iPhone 5 or MacBook Air. No amp. I'm not much of an audiophile but I just want better quality music.- guitargeek

1964 EARS V6 Thread
I love the V6 for everything except the quantity of the bass. There wasn't enough kick to it but the retailer told me the bass will improve from the seal of the custom version. I want them to be able to provide that "boom" from trance or house tracks when I opt to listen to them. So I would...- guitargeek

1964 EARS V6 Thread
Currently torn between the V6 and V6s. The weird thing is when I tested the V3, Q, V6 and V6-S, the V3 had the most "kick" to the bass. I was about to pull the trigger on the V6 but many said that the V6-S has more kick which should be quite obvious but I didn't hear a significant difference...- guitargeek

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Not sure if this is a fair comparison but how does the Noble lineup compare to the 1964 V6? I auditioned the V6 today and loved the separation, detail, highs and mids but the bass left me wanting a little more "kick"- guitargeek

Help in choosing customs.
Hi all. I need help with choosing my first customs. I will be upgrading from Shure SE215. A little bit on my past earphones. I started off with the CX300 because like all adolescents at that time, bass is king. Progressed from there to the RE0 and hated it for it's neutrality (probably because...- guitargeek

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Can someone please assist me and briefly describe Noble Audio's sound signature? I've only had experience with Sennheiser CX300, Shure SE215 and JH13s. I like the sound signature of the first two. The JH13s occasionally leave me wanting for slightly more bass in certain songs.- guitargeek

Triple drivers CIEMs.
Currently, I've narrowed it down to: - JHA JH5 - Noble Audio 3C - 1964-V3 / 1964-D - Heir Audio 3.A. I have demo units at shops where I'm at but I don't have the time to head down to give it a try due to my schedule. Sadly, I think I will miss the black friday sales since I'll only be...- guitargeek

Triple drivers CIEMs.
I really love the customized stuff. I understand that there is no resale value in them but all my earphones and headphones have been exhausted by me and spoilt, resulting in me buying new ones. I'd like to believe that I have a very specific taste with regards to sound signature so might as...- guitargeek

Triple drivers CIEMs.
I'm no audio professional but I have an idea of what I like. I've been through the sennheiser cx300, SE215 and jh13s (which I sold due to financial constraints). As you can see from the 3, they have rather similar sound signature based on what I hear, apart from the jh13s that have slightly...- guitargeek

Triple drivers CIEMs.
Hello all-diophiles, I would like to seek some expert opinion and recommendations on this one. I am currently using the Shure SE215 and am thinking of an upgrade to customs. I'm on a budget so the most I can afford are triple drivers CIEMs (from my research, they should cost around USD500 or...- guitargeek

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
I need advice! I am currently looking at Sennheiser HD201, HD202 and PX100-II. I am on a tight budget. I want to get something that's good for street use (i.e. stylish looking) and something that provides decent sound for the price I'm paying. Comfort is also a factor as I will be using them for...- guitargeek

Cheap headphones help
Hi head-fiers. I'm recently looking into getting a pair of headphones for casual use at my workplace. Been looking at Sennheiser HD201 and HD202. I like HD201's sound but HD202's look. Both are within my price range. Would've settled for the HD201 if it looked more appealing for street use as I...- guitargeek

i have a ipod nano 4G. was planning to get the protector to pair it with my JH13 but now I am considering the toucan.
