Best IEM for $400 max (House, trance, Chill, Nujazz, Hiphop)
You definitely should not buy any amarture iem, the bass won't satisfy you. so either the Monster Gold or MD, or FX1000 or DDM W2 should be good- vernicex

thinking about IPhone for next cell phone - would have to last me several years though - how durable are they?
Quote: not a 1ghz chip, probably 800mhz or so, that's why they did not advertise it as 1Ghz A4, they just said A4. The screen is in much higher resolution, so the GPU and CPU have to process a lot more, hence the lag. It's really easy to see, everywhere, everytime you use the...- vernicex

and I'm going to get Apple give me a new iphone tomorrow. or a free bumper, depends on what Apple give me. even if we pretend to believe that Apple are trying (and maybe trying really hard), but there's just no point advertising the glass when it's weaker than the previous generation. ...- vernicex

thinking about IPhone for next cell phone - would have to last me several years though - how durable are they?
DO NOT BUY THE IPHONE 4 !!! Sorry about the caps, I am just too disappointed with the iphone 4. Drop it from about 10 inches, or less, and the plastic at the side of the phone just broke, and about 4 scratch at the front. Needless to say, I had to buy an insurance plan right away :(...- vernicex

I dropped my 3GS a few time, and once stepped on it when I was drunk some scratches on the back but none on the screen. I know it's not perfectly scratch resistant, but the glass is quite hard indeed.- vernicex

Sennheiser IE8
Answer to some of your questions. They take sennheiser cable only, although there's 1 or 2 custom cable for it at the moment Yes you can wear it straight down, some people even say it's more comfortable. Just switch the cable, wear the left one on the right side :D- vernicex

Best in ear headphones around £300 ($450 US)
with £300 you can probably buy any top universal IEM, and these are not really comparable imo, it just depend on your preference. So describe your sound preference, so everyone can give you some recommendation- vernicex
