AKG K845BT First Impressions & Early Review (+ The Headphone Bar)
Lot's of Vancouver people in here. Nice. Every time I saw the K545's sitting on the demo wall I'd put them on and crave them, but kept waiting for a good price. When I noticed the store had the K845's on for $120 off I pounced figuring I'd be getting the best of both worlds, wired and...- jddesigned

Review by 'jddesigned' on item 'Panasonic RP-HTF600-S Step Monitor'
Little background, I’m a home theater guy who likes listening to music on his Tannoy’s with a Denon receiver I consider warm. When I upgraded to the Tannoy’s I almost went insane watching broadcast TV, out of nowhere there was edginess to certain male voices on occasion. Over time I came to...- jddesigned

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Anyone own the Meelectronics A151 or heard them and can compare some signatures? I think I need to go back to IEM's for isolation at work and would hate to lose what I consider a nice lush sound signature these present.- jddesigned

Quote: I've played with the EQ and I agree you can get more excitement out of these for sure. However with my tinnitus I have come to love the smooth detailed sound of these at a flat EQ for long listening session.- jddesigned

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Quote: I believe the Superluxes are a fairly open and large can that you probably wouldn't want to be wearing out of the house. I will say that the build quality of these Panny's is pretty solid for $30- jddesigned

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Quote: These aren't commuters.... but I've had the HARX700 and wasn't impressed compared to what the HTF600's are giving me now, I find the Panasonics so much more involving. I've listen to every type of music you mentioned daily for a week now these (70+ hours) and I think it will...- jddesigned

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Quote: I guess my sensitive ears are picking up something different. Ya I hear the heavy bass emphasis but the vocals sound so distant compared the the lows and highs. Personally I think the HTF600's highs are a lot smoother than the XB500- jddesigned

The PANASONIC RP-HTF600-S headphones. More fun than the HD650?
Now I realize it's a whole nother price bracket but anyone heard the Sony MDR-ZX700's next to these? Their signature sounds close from reviews I've read but with way better isolation. PS: I just listened a guys XB500's and I like the fit/feel but the V shaped FR just isn't for me- jddesigned

I love these headphones but not sure if they're going to work out in the office.... I need more isolation! Anyways what is the consensus these days for this sound signature in a closed can WITHOUT spending an arm and a leg more?- jddesigned

Courier just dropped these off and initial impressions are "amazing" for $30 and holy bass. Guy behind me @ work keeps saying it feels like you're in a live theater. I'll post more detailed impressions of sound after I burn them all weekend, but pretty impressed out of the box by the bass/detail...- jddesigned
