The printed wood looks nice no worries. The bass is awesome they have plenty of high quality bass the shockwave is no shy in bass but the dc8 have more mid bass and more impact everywhere, you don't need an amp to bring the bass with the dc8 so for me dc8 is better.

As I thought the keggers sound much better with fiio cable than with the stock. More body, impact sound is fuller and treble is awesome a bit tamed but extended and bright. these don't sound thin anymore.

The treble won't change maybe a bit but only the first hours only the bass will change after a long burning period considering is a dynamic driver. I like brightness and V shaped iems that's why I went with the shockwaves. Try some comply tips to avoid too much treble but I doubt these iems are...
